➡️(a)

Divide 180 into two parts are in ratio 3:2

As given above;

We have to divide 180 in two parts such that they should be in ratio 3:2 .

So,

Let us take the ratio as "x".

According to question, we should get 180 when we add 3x and 2x.

So, formula will be :-

3x + 2x = 180

=> 5x= 180

=> x= \frac{\large{180}}{\large{5}}

5

180

=>x= 36

Means ,

2x= 2× 36= 72

3x=3×36=108.

As,

The required ratio is 3:2

So,

The answer is 108:72

→ Thus ,180 is divided in two parts in such a way that they are in ratio 3:2 i.e. 108:72.
