the total resistance of the circuit is 8 ohms
now V=IR
V=8*I
its given that power is 16 W for each resistance
so P=VI/2
16=VI/2 (for two resistors)
16=8*I*I/2
16=4*I^2
I^2=16/4
I^2=4
I = 2 Ampere
