So, we can say that,

  • \angleOAB = \angleCOB = 2x ( Alternate angles)

Now, we have that,

  • \angleDOC = (162° - 3x) - - - {Given}
  • \angleCOB = 2x - - - {Proved above}

Here,

= \angleDOC + \angleCOB = 180° - - - - {Linear pair}

= (162° - 3x) + 2x = 180°

= - x = 180° - 162°

= - x = 18

= x = 18

So, option d) 18° is correct.
