length of gulab jamun = 5 cm

radius of hemisphere = r = 2.8/2

= 1.4 cm

radius of hemisphere = radius of cylinder = r

= 1.4 cm

Height of cylindrical portion = h

= (5-2.8) cm

= 2.2 cm

Therefore

Volume of one gulab jamun

volume of cylinder + volume of two hemisphere

\pi \: r {}^{2} h \:  + 2 \times 2 \div 3 \times \pi \: r {}^{3}

 = \pi \: r {}^{2} (4 \div 3 \times r \: + h)

22÷7 × (1.4)^2 × ( 4÷3 ×1.4 + 2.2) cm^3

By solving we get

25.07 cm^3

Now sugar syrup in 45 gulab jamun

= 30/100 × 45 × 25.07 cm^3

= 338.445 approximate cm^3

Therefore = 338 cm^3

I Hope it will help you

Thank s

Step-by-step explanation:

First We get the volume of one jar of syrup

the jar is a cylinder that has two hemispherecial ends

like the image I put above.

in order to calculate the volume of this shape,

you can break down the shape into two parts:

one part is the cylinder alone without the two hemisphereical ends.

, and the other part is the two hemispheres combined to form a one complete sphere.

now we calculate the volume of each shape seperately then we add up.

the cylinder's Volume formula = π × r^2 ×h

where r = radius and h = height

to get the height of the cylinder, we will subtract the height of the two hemispheres from 5--the height of the whole shape. the height of one hemisphere is equal to its radius which in this case is equal to 1.4 that means that we have to subtract 1.4 × 2 from the height of the whole shape which will give us 2.2.

the cylinder's Volume = π × 1.4^2 × 2.2 = 13.55 cm^3

The Sphere's Volume formula =4/3 × π × r^3

The Sphere's Volume = 4/3 × π × 1.4^3 = 11.49 cm^3

so the volume of one jar = 13.55 + 11.49 = 25.04 cm^3

We're about to finish,

the question asks about how much syrup is in 45 jars, while stating the fact that 30% of the Volume of one jar is syrup.

to solve it, We're going to get the volume of the 45 jars by multiplying 25.04-- the volume of one jar-- by 45.

The Volume of the 45 Jars = 20.04 × 45 = 1126.8 cm^3

The last step is to multiply 30% times the volume of the 45 jars to get the volume of the syrup.

The Volume of the syrup = 30% × 1126.8 = 338.04 cm^3

hope it helps.
