can anyone solve this please. (2x-7/4)-(1-x/6)=17

Hiiii friend,

(2X-7/4) - (1-X/6) = 17

(8X - 7 /4) - (6 - X/6) = 17

8X-7 6 - X
_____ - ______ = 17
4 6

=> 3(8X-7) - 2(6-X) = 17
__________________

=> 24X - 21 - 12 +2X = 17
_________________
************12

=> 24X - 21 - 12 + 2X = 17 × 12

=> 26X -33 = 204

=> 26X = 204+33

=> 26X = 237

=> X = 237/26
