xy = 10^2 =100 (1)

log x/y + 2 log 2 = 2

log x/y + log 2^2 = 2
log x/y + log 4 = 2 (2)

We know,
log a +log b= log ab

Therefore,
log x/y + log 4 = log (4x/y)

From the equation (2),

log(4x/y) = 2
=> 4x/y = 10^2
=>4x/y= 100 (3)

Also from eq (1),
xy=100

=> 4x/y = xy
=> 4=y^2
=> y =2

Now xy =100
=> x = 100/y
=> x = 100/2 = 50

Aishwarya3011: If you would have told me properly, I would have edited my answer. You should not abuse someone who is helping you selflessly Sir.
Yadunandan211103: after it one more eqation is there
Aishwarya3011: You have disappointed me. I tried to answer as best as it was mentioned.
Aishwarya3011: Is it my fault that you didn't mention the other equation?
Yadunandan211103: log x/y +2log 2 =2
Yadunandan211103: please solve it and give it to me
Aishwarya3011: please verify if this is correct.
Aishwarya3011: Is it correct?
Aishwarya3011: And please do not abuse someone who tries to help you selflessly.
Aishwarya3011: I hope this answer helps.
