P stands for Perpendicular or altitude of triangle.

H stands for hypotenuse.

B stands for Base as a x.

"A" stands for theta

Value 1.

sin A =P/H

0.6 = 12/H

H = 12/0.6

H = 20 cm

By Pythagoras for base :

H² = P²+B²

B² = H² - P²

B² = 400-144

B= √ 256

B= 16 cm (it is x base)

I hope you like it☺️

dishankjaiswal3: angle theta = 0.6? how?
MOSFET01: dishank it is sin theta = 0.6
MOSFET01: angle theta is 36.86°
SidVK: Yaaa...it shows that the ratio between the perpendicular and hypotenuse is 0.6
dishankjaiswal3: sin theta = 0.6?
dishankjaiswal3: please tell me i am unable to understand
MOSFET01: see figure you understand well
MOSFET01: sin theta is P/H

By Pythagoras Theorem,

AB = √( x^2 + 12^2) = √( x^2 + 144) cm

Now,

Given, sin ¢ = 0.6

So, Perpendicular / Hypotenuse = 0.6

BC / AB = 0.6

12 / √( x^2 + 144 ) = 0.6

√( x^2 + 144 ) = 12 / 0.6

√( x^2 + 144 ) = 20

x^2 + 144 = 400.......square on both the sides.

x^2 = 400 - 144

x^2 = 256

x = 16 cm.............●
