$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} * 5^{-1} - 5^{2(x - 1)} = 2500$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} * 5^{-1} - 5^{2x} * 5^{-2} = 2500$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} ( 5^{-1} - 5^{-2}) = 2500$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} = \frac{2500}{ 5^{-1} - 5^{-2} }$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} = \frac{2500}{ \frac{1}{5} - \frac{1}{5^2} }$

$= \ \textgreater \ \frac{2500}{ \frac{4}{25} }$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} = \frac{62500}{4}$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} = 15625$

$= \ \textgreater \ 5^{2x} = 5^6$

= > 2x = 6

= > x = 3.
