Let the age of the daughter be x
then, age of the son = x+3
Acc.to.question,
Age of father=2×{x+(x+3)}
= 2(2x+3)
= 4x+6
Now,
4x+6 + x + x+3 = 69
=> 6x+9=69
=> 6x=69-9
=> x=60/6
Therefore x= 10
Age of the daughter is 10yrs
Age of the son is 13yrs
Age of the father is 2(10+13)=46yrs
then, age of the son = x+3
Acc.to.question,
Age of father=2×{x+(x+3)}
= 2(2x+3)
= 4x+6
Now,
4x+6 + x + x+3 = 69
=> 6x+9=69
=> 6x=69-9
=> x=60/6
Therefore x= 10
Age of the daughter is 10yrs
