can anyone solve this?
two equal forces F vector each act at right angles to each other.what is The third force which can neutralize their effect ??

Resultant of the above two forces
F net=√(F^2+F^2 +2F^2cos90) N=F√2 N
Let's say the two forces are acting along +ve x and +ve y axes(theta=90°)
The angle of the resultant vector from +ve x axes will be =tan^-1 Fsin90/(F+Fcos90)
=tan ^-1 (1)=45°.
Therefore ,to neutralize the effect of above two forces the third forces has to of magnitude F√2 at an angle of (45+180)° from + ve x -axis
.
