can anyone tell differentiation between acid,base and salt . With their example and defination.

An acid is a substance which releases hydronium ions when dissolved in water.
They are sour in taste and turn blue litmus red. They are good electrolytes.

Bases are the chemical substances which release hydroxil ions when dissolved in water. They are bitter in taste and turn red litmus blue. They are also good electrolytes due to presence of ions.

Salts are the substances formed by the uetralisation reaction of an acid by a base or vice versa. They are good electrolytes and are ionic compounds. They can be acidic, basic or neutral...
