We have 7 yek ( clans) .They are i) Ningthouja. ii) Khaba-Ngangba. iii) Khuman. iv) Moirang. v) Luwang. vi) Chenglei. -and- vii) Angom.

Shiroi lily is our state flower. Sangai is the state animal.

Nongin is the state bird.
