2Ca+O2---->2CaO
2mole of Ca =2mole of CaO
now mole of Ca=2/40=0.05
so mole of CaO=0.05
we know
mole =given weight/molar weight
0.05=given weight/56
given weight=56x0.05=2.8 g
7)in the same way
MgCO3---> MgO+CO2
mole of MgCO3=4.2/84=0.05=mole of MgO
so, 0.05=weight of MgO/molar weight of MgO
0.05x40=weight of MgO
weight of MgO=2g
8) 2Fe+ 3 Cl2----> 2FeCl3
3mole of chlorine=2mole of Fe=2mole of FeCl3
weight of Fe=0.067x56=3.73
weight of FeCl3=0.067x162.5=10.83g
