A polyatomic ion, also known as a molecular ion, is a covalently bonded set of two or more atoms, or of a metal complex, that can be considered to behave as a single unit

A radical is an atom, molecule or ion that has unpaired valence electrons. However a polyatomic ion is an ion ( an atom that is either positively or negatively charged) that consists of more than one atom. Well, your question isn’t very clear because a polyatomic ion can be a radical (also known as free radical)

hope this helps
