d. Side of square field = 8 m

Area of square field = side x side = 8 x 8 = 64 m^2

Rate of leveling 1 m^2 = Rs. 125

Rate of leveling 64 m^2 = 125 x 64 = Rs. 8000

e. Area of wall with length 7 m and height 5 m = Length x Breadth

= 5 x 7 = 35 m^2

Area covered by window of length 2 m & height 1 m = Length x Breadth

= 1 x 2 = 2 m^2

Area left to be painted = 35 - 2 = 33 m^2

Cost of painting 1 m^2 = Rs. 100

Cost of painting 33 m^2 = 100 x 33 = Rs. 3300

f. L of floor = 15 m, B of floor = 10 m

Area of floor = L x B = 150 m^2

Area of a tile = 1.5 m^2

Number of tiles required = 150/1.5 = 100 tiles

Cost of 1 tile = Rs. 18

Cost of 100 tiles = 18 x 100 = Rs. 1800

Side of square field = 8m

area \: of \: square = side \times side

Area of square field= (8×8)m² = 64m²

Cost of leveling per m²= ₹125

Total cost= Area × cost per m²

= ( 125×64)

= 8000

(e) Length of wall= 7m

Breadth of wall= 5m

area \: of \: rectangle = length \times breadth

Area of wall= (l×b) = (7×5)m² = 35m²

Length of window = 2m

Breadth of window= 1m

Area of window= (l×b)= (2×1)m²= 2m²

Area to be painted= Area of wall- area of window

= (35-2)m² = 33m²

Cost of painting per m²= ₹100

Total cost = Area × Cost per m²

= (33×100)= 3300

(f) Length of room= 15m

Breadth of room= 10m

Area of room= (l×b)= (15×10)m²= 150m²

Given, area of tile = 1.5m²

No. of tiles required= Area of room/ area of one tile

= 150m²/1.5m²

100

:. Cost of flooring per tile=₹18

Total cost = No.of tiles × cost per tile

= (100×18)= 1800

Hope it helps.....
