Hey mate !!

Here's your answer !!

Distinction is a term used in exams which expresses that a person has got 75% marks of total marks in the exam.

On the basis of CBSE Board Exam, distinction is about securing above 75% in all subjects including optional subjects like art, craft, etc.

So distinction for this year's CBSE Board exam is 75% of total marks. That is:

= 75 / 100 * 500

= 3 * 500 / 4

= 1500 / 4

= 350

Hence if we score 350 and above it is considered to be distinction.

Hope my answer helped you !!

Cheers !!

Correct answer :- 75 %

===================================================

75% is needed to get distinction in cbse board exams.

we should get the 75% marks. the 75 marks are also of the arts, crafts, projects.

75 % means we have to get 350 Marks

=>

 = > \frac{75}{100} \times 500 \\ = > 3 \times \frac{500}{4} \\ = > \frac{1500}{4} \\ = > 350
