Dear Jasmine,
The Christmas holidays are soon going to end. This year, Dennis' parents have invited me to celebrate christmas with them, in the countryside, where they have a family home. The day before christmas, I had helped Dennis and his sister decorate the Christmas tree, which we had bought at the market. We hung the star of christmas and multicoloured balls, above the tree we had positioned a little golden angel, and at the foot, we had arranged gifts. As it snowed all week, we had made a snowman. Every evening, we had lit up the house with electric tinsel. Then we accompanied Dennis' parents to the church where we joined the midnight Mass. Returning to the house revealed: a brown turkey. smoked salmon, champagne and the chocolate christmas log which was delicious. After dinner, we talked and we sung. I have thought of you a lot. If you were with us, it would be wonderful. If it all goes well, we well go next year. I hope that you also had a good holidays with your family.
