hey!!

here is ur answer!!

co-ordinate covalent bond is a type of covalency which involves one of combining atoms contributing both of the shared electrons that is a bond formed by a shared pair of electrons with both electrons coming from the same atom............

FORMATION OF HYDRONIUM ION [H3O +]

the water contains O atom contains two lone pairs of electrons after completing its octet...

the hydrogen ion accept one lone pair of electrons of the oxygen atom of water molecules leading to the formation of a coordinate covalent bond....

HOPE THIS HELPS U!!!

Anonymous: Thnx
Anonymous: But what is coLLC??
Anonymous: its covalency
Anonymous: Okh
Anonymous: Nd what about hydroxyl ions
Anonymous: an alkali which when dissolves in water yields hydroxyl ions (OH) - as they are negatively charged ions.... hope u understand
