Birth Rate---
It is the no. of births per thousand persons in a year. It is one of the major component of population growth as in India birth, due to increasing birth rate, the population is also rapidly increasing.


Death Rate---
It is the no. of deaths per thousand persons in a year. In India, death rates have always been lower than the birth rates, due to which also population is increasing.


Migration---
It is the movement of people across different regions or territories. Migration can be internal ( within the country ) or external ( outside the country ).
