What is acceleration?
=> Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. Since Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity, it seems hard to find acceleration on a body with 0 velocity. You might be surprised that it actually happens!
Consider a ball thrown up. The acceleration due to gravity (g) is acting on it, right. You might be knowing that at the maximum height, it's velocity will become zero, right. But, the acceleration is still available on the ball. The acceleration due to gravity continues to work on the ball and thus, ball moves downward.
In short, a body can have acceleration with zero velocity if it is regarding, i.e it is having negative acceleration.
Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️
