Can displacement be zero even if distance is not zero? Give one example to explain your answer

Yes, displacement can be zero if distance is not zero.

Lets take an example:-

when a person goes in a circle and comes back to the initial position, the net displacement is 0. In the case, the distance travelled is equal to the circumference of the circular path.

If the distance traveled is zero, it means that the person never traveled from the initial position. The person or the body is at rest. Hence, it means that displacement is zero.
