Yes, displacement can be zero even if distance is not zero .

FOR EXAMPLE:

When we throw a ball up in the air ,for whole of the journey covered by the ball , displacement becomes zero because the ball get backs to its position due to the gravity but it cover some distance.

Thus, displacement is zero even if distance is not zero..
