e.g.
1. when an object moves in a straight libe path and comes back to its initial position
2. when u hit basketball on ground it comes back to its initial point it is also an example

Yes, of course displacement can be zero .
But distance is never 0.
For exm.
If you travel to your school which is 2 km from your house but when you return to your home you are back to your starting point and thus the displacement in this case becomes 0 while the distance you cover is 4 km.
