As I am a student I will never support the homework scheme. But the homework is not just about the work it is about the things that are being taught to you and the teacher wants it as a result or in a written form so you can go through it when you need it. Homework is really important for a student who is sensuous about her/his studies. If you are not revising the work you have done in the school and you are doing the job or homework you have given then it doesn't really matter. It was covered by you in your homework.
