can enyone give me the answer of :a ball thrown upward with velocity of 60 m/'s. find the max. height attained by that body and time required to attain that height​

v²-u²=2as

When we throw the ball upwards

The initial speed will be 60m/s

and when the ball will reach at the maximum height

the ball's speed will be 0 i.e v=0 and u=60

We have thrown he ball upwards so the gravity will act downwards therefore

g=-10m/s²

so by applying the formula

0²-60²=2*(-10)*s

-60²=-20s

-20s+60²

-20s=-3600

s=3600/20

s=180
