In normal case as everyone know that heavier person lifts the lighter person

But in this question they are asking when heavier person move from end B to center point P what would happen?

Solution:

According to physics the center P point is termed as pivot point(fulcrum) because of this only principle of see saw works

In this case when heavier person moves towards fulcrum the distance between pivot point and person decreases ( line of action of force decreases).

So it causes lot of amount of torque to act on it.

This enables lighter person to easily lift the heavier person.

It is one of the main principle of Torque.
