Can Fashion and Studies Go Hand In Hand?
Fashion and studies are two different entities. People may give innumerable arguments to prove that fashion and studies can go hand in hand. The truth is they can’t. Studies is an endeavor and aspiration to know the secrets and mysteries of life; whereas fashion is an aspect of sensuality to pursue life’s base pleasures. If one is inclined towards fashion, one will naturally be disinclined towards studies.
We have in front of role models of some brilliant students. Personalities like Einstein, Dr. Abdul Kalam, Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Yogananda, Vivekananda, Tolstoy, Helen Keller, and many more like them. They were always simple and sober in wearing clothes. They believed in simple living and high thinking.
On the other hand we have people belonging to fashion and cine industries; they have almost nothing to do in the world of studies (Some exceptions might be there). One thing is quite plain, one cannot serve two masters at the same time. Either one can give one’s energies to studies, or fashion.
The ideal thing should be striking a balance between the two. Studies are highly important; fashion should be secondary to studies.
Education is extremely important and can go a long way in the fashion industry.
There are various aspects that require education such as fabric textures use of different techniques and most of these methods and techniques have quite a lot of theory that needs to be understood and implemented.
