Can fire have shadow?? Is fire transparent or translucent??​

Fires don't have a shadows because fire is a light source in itself. Shadows are just dark spaces caused by absense of light due to objects, Opaque or semi transparent blocking the light . So fires don't have shadows because they dont block any light, instead give out light.

but smoke can have shadow
