the sign of force is decided according to the direction in which it acts.It is up to us to decide which direction to give positive sign.
for example if i say a ball exerts a force on ground in downwards direction, then it will experience an equal reaction force from ground upwards. assume both forces as 10 N assuming no loss of energy.
then if you take downward direction as positive
the force applied by ball is +10 N
and reaction from ground is -10 N
if you take upwards positive
force by ball -10 N and by ground is +10 N. You are free to decide in a numerical the sign for direction if it is not mentioned. Mostly it is mentioned.PLS mark BRAINLIEST
