Can fossil fuels be synthesised in the laboratory?why(or)why not?

No, Fossil fuels can possibly not be synthesized in the Laboratory. The reason is because it takes millions of years to get produced and as we know that these fuels are produced from the wastes of dead and decaying organic matters only under the earth's surface.

No fossil fuels cannot be synthesised in the labs because dead plants and animals need their own environment,insects to get decaying in soil to form fossil fuels
