ACCELERATION PRODUCED IN THE OBJECT FROM 0 TO 15 SEC. = 1 m/s²

EXPLANATION----

Distance travelled from 0 to 15 seconds = Area of trapezium

1/2 × (10 + 25) × 15

= 262.5 m

Distance travelled from 15 to 30 seconds = Area of rectangle

Length= 25

Breadth=15

Area = 25×15= 375 m

Distance travelled from 30 to 40 seconds = Area of trapezium

1/2 × (25+35) ×10

300 m

TOTAL DISTANCE= 937.5 m

Acceleration from 0 to 15 seconds = 25 -0/ 15-0

= 1 m/s²
