can hydrogen ions exist alone .why?

no they can't since hydrogen ions are cations and thus they can't exist independently.

nvn22: hydrogen ions cannot exist alone,but they exist after combining with water molecules.Thus hydrogen ions must always be shown as H+ or hydronium ion.

No hydrogen ion can not exist alone. They need some solvent to mix to become ions like water.when hcl combine with water they produce hydronium ion
