Consumer protection Act is an act enacted in order to promote consumerism and protection of consumer from illegal business practices.

Explanation:

Right to choose means, that consumer is under to compulsion to buy a product or from the particular seller either. He is free to buy any legal product from the market.

For example: If A goes to shop 1 to purchase

X product, A is under no compulsion to buy

product X from shop 1.

Right to inform means, that the seller is obliged to share vital and essential information of the product with the consumer before the purchase is made.

For example: Information relating to quantity, price, manufacturing date, expiry date, place of production and litigation process, etc., has to be mentioned for helping the consumer make a better purchase.
