Can I get some tips on writing short stories for CBSE class X English exam?
Questions would be like this:-
Write a short story in about 200-250 words with the given beginning and give a suitable title to it.
I don't get ideas while writing stories. I spend too much time thinking and cannot complete the paper in time.

> Manage the things in your mind scene wise.

> Never waste your time thinking about the whole content of the story.

Just prepare a bit of it in you mind and just move on with the flow.

> Draft the content of the story in the reading time given to you.

> Leave space for the title, and prepare the best title for your story at the end.

> Divide your story into paragraphs signifying different circumstances occurring in the story.

> Try to give a positive or enthralling ending to your story.

The marks for story writing are given on the basis of :-

→ Title (1 mark)

→ Fluency (2 marks)

→ Vocabulary (2 marks)

→ Content (5 marks)
