Let x represent Japan and y for Switzerland. So:

3x+2y=$77.87

2x+3y=$73.83

Now let's multiply the first equation by -2 and the second equation by 3 to be:

-6x-4y=-155.74

6x+9y=221.49

Add both of these equations to get:

5y=65.75 Now divide each side by 5 to get:

y=$13.15 Plug this into either equation to find x:

x=$17.19
