Step-by-step explanation:

LHS

tan-cot/sincos=sin/cos-cos/sin/sincos

=sin²-cos²/(sincos)²

=sin²-cos²/sin²cos²

RHS

tan²-cot²=sin²/cos²-cos²/sin²

So,

sin⁴-cos⁴/sin²cos² ...so now (a²)²-(b²)²=a²+b²×a²-b²

= (sin²-cos²)(sin²+cos²)/sin²cos²...since sin²+cos²=1..

=sin²-cos²/sin²cos²

So ,

LHS=RHS
