Motion is defined as the movement of a body in a particular period of time under some variable or constant speed or velocity.

Velocity is the displacement done by the moving body under a period of time. It has direction and magnitude and is called a vector quantity.

Uniform Motion is defined as a motion in which an object covers equal intervals of distances in equal intervals of time. A constant speed or acceleration is maintained. E.g. Rotation of ceiling Fan at constant speed.

Non-Uniform motion is defined as the motion in which an object covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time. The speed or velocity is often changing. E.g. Driving in a road with traffic.
