Some heart conditions are used for heart disease; however the most common is coronary artery disease. It is also termed as CAD. Other problems related to heart problems are arrhythmia, in which the heartbeat becomes abnormal and congenital heart defects including defects in valves. In CAD, the blood flow is partially blocked. The majority of people suffer from coronary artery blockage; we will discuss here the symptoms and causes of CAD, arrhythmia, and congenital heart defects.

Causes & Symptoms of CAD:

Over the time, Cholesterol starts depositing in arteries, and this deposition narrows down space for blood to flow and consequently partial blocking take place. It is also called atherosclerosis.

The initial symptoms can be chest pain, shortness of breath, and if allowed untreated for long, it may lead to heart attack.

Symptoms of Arrhythmia:

There are two other heart conditions, known as tachycardia when heart beats fast and bradycardia, when the heart beats slow or irregularly.

Systems of arrhythmia include chest pain, shortness of breath, discomfort, racing or slowing heartbeat, dizziness and fainting, etc.

Symptoms of congenital heart defects:

There might be some defects at the time of birth, and the symptoms of some of the major defects include gray or blue skin, shortness of breath while feeding, swelling in different parts of the body, poor weight gain, etc. Symptoms of some low serious congenital defects may not appear at the time of birth, and these defects are diagnosed much later in life. Most of such defects are not serious.
