Hello there!

52: 28.5 parts an hour

62: $25 an hour

72: $8000 a second

To find the unit rate, divide the total by the number of hours/minutes it is achieved in.  You can use this formula to solve the given problems: total ÷ time = unit rate. Let's try it on the questions given.

52. 684 manufactured parts in 24 hours

Using total ÷ time = unit rate, let's plug in the values.

total = 684, time equals 24, giving us 684 ÷ 24  = unit rate.

684 ÷ 24 = 28.5

So, 28.5 parts are manufactured every hour.

Now, for question 62.

62. $200 for 8 hours of work.

$200(total) ÷ 8(time) = $25 an hour.

Lastly, question 72.

72. $240,000 for a 30-second prime television commercial spot.

$240,000(total) ÷ 30(time) = $8000 a second

I hope this helps and have a great day!
