201.14 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

We can see that,

side of square is 16 cm and circle completely fits in it.

so we can say that diameter of circle = 16 cm

Now,

Radius of circle = diameter/2 = 16/2 cm = 8 cm

Area of circle = πr²

=> 22/7 × 8 × 8 cm²

=> 1408/7 cm ²

=> 201.14 cm² (approx)

Hence area of circle is approximately 201.14 cm².

hope it helps.
