can KMnO4 can be used as acid-base indicator

it is a self-indicator.

Somanshi: can u explain it further

aishu01: yes

aishu01: it is highly visible to naked eye.
and when we titrate it , the color disappears,like there is a loss of color itself.
so we obviously dont need an indicator

Because of its bright purple colour,KMno4is a self indicator.So it is a self indicator..
