deforestation can lead effect on rainfall as rain will not come at that place. it is because transpiration and evaporation will not occur and due to this rainfall will not come and our water table will remain dry.

Large scale cutting of forest can effect rainfall in an area because trees are only one who attract rain. And if there will be no trees then there will no rainfall in area and can also lead to drought
