Can light travel through gas cloud in space?Why?​

The difference is that interstellar gas clouds are much less dense than the Earth's atmosphere. ... But although sound can travel through Earth, it can't travel from Earth to Mars because there's essentially no matter (gases, liquids, solids) in between the two planets for it to travel through.

yes light can travel through everything except solids because their it mostly get scattered due to electon but it is also important to notice that which wavelength of light you are talking about if you are talking about visible light then it would be scattered by solid but not completely by clouds in clouds it would find its way and if you would take about higher wavelength then they would never scatter by any object completely and if you would talk about shorter wavelength then light then they would penetrate the object and find its way

so your answer dependson what wavelength you are talking about
