No it does not…where did you hear that. Tamarind is acidic so it might make your scalp a bit irritating. Natural color e of your hair and Hair Colors become faded when exposed for long periods to the sun, so flags and signs and window curtains lose their color. The same can happen to your hair. Too much exposure of the sun to your hair not good for your hair, or your scalp too.
