Question is not correct. Leaves don't have veins, it has special tissue named xylem and pholem. These have its part like Xylem parenchyma, xylem fibers, vessels and trochoid. xylem transport water and minerals in plants. Pholem transport food in plants. movement of pholem is according to need. But move of xylem is upwards only and it created by a suction force created by lost of water through stomata by the process of evaporation.
