Viviparous means bearing living young; for example, when the seeds germinate on the parent plant or where plantlets are produced from the edges of leaves.
Eg. for viviparous plants are Bruguiera, Ceriops, Kandelia, Rhizophora etc.
and not present oviporous in plant.

● Oviparous plants -
- Plants in which seed develops after detaching from the plant are called oviparous plants.
- For example, mango, rose, coconut, etc.
● Viviparous plants -
- Plants in which seed starts to develop before detaching from the plant are called viviparous plants.
- For example, rhizophora, etc.
