LEDs as per my understanding emits monochrome light i.e. A particuluar wavelength or wavelengths that are nearer to the color of LED light emitted. Plants have different pigment system. The major one is made up of chlorophyll and then the auxiliary pigments. Main pigment system require a particular wavelength (Called as Photosytem I and II) and the auxillary pigments absorbs other ranges and emit in the requirement range of PS I and II mostly.
So if the plant you want to grow in your room is shade loving (sciophytes) like money plant for example, it can grow happily as long as its requirment of wave length is satisfied. If not, then in that case, plant will show etiolation (yellowish growth evident in dark condition). So you should choose plants which are adapted better for growth in such conditions (indoors).
