cat + rabbit = 10 ...(i)
dog + rabbit = 20 ...(ii)
dog + cat = 24 ...(iii)
{(ii) - (i)} gives
dog - cat = 10 ...(iv)
{(iii) + (iv)} guves
2×dog = 34.
=> dog = 17 kg.
from (ii),
rabbit = 3 kg.
from (i),
cat = 7 kg.
Thus, cat + dog + rabbit = 17 + 7 + 3 = 27 kg.
