Mate it's very easy, use Pythagoras theorem

GIVEN:

  • AB= 12 cm
  • BC= 5 cm

(AC)²= (AB)²+(BC)²

(AC)²= (12 cm)²+(5 cm)²

(AC)²= 144 cm²+ 25 cm²

(AC)²= 169

AC = √169

AC = 13 cm

Length of ABC= 12 cm+ 5 cm+ 13 cm

Length of ABC= 30 cm
