There is no need to become violent to satisfy your demands.

The best example of this is the Freedom movement of India wherein Gandhiji embraced nonviolence and fought the battle of Independence against the British.

When a country like India can gain Independence by using nonviolence, then why not trivial issues be resolved with peaceful talks.
